A South African textile studio designed, printed and manufactured in Cape Town — bringing African flora, fauna and landscape into a calm, working library of patterned linen. Sandy & Sage is the work of South African designer, painter and gallerist Sandy De Bruin, and her collection reads exactly like the practice that produces it: layered, considered, and recognisably from the place it's made.

Sandy has spent her adult life in fashion, design, retail and the arts. She founded Country Living South Africa, which grew into a household name in South African homewares. After living in the United Kingdom for a period — during which she took up painting and studied art locally and abroad — she returned to South Africa and now works from a studio in Cape Town.
Alongside her textile design practice, Sandy founded No. 5 On Hudson, a Cape Town art gallery dedicated to the empowerment and upliftment of female South African artists. The Sandy & Sage textile collection sits within that broader practice: a painter's eye, a retailer's instincts, and a quiet championing of South African creative work.

Sandy & Sage fabrics are sustainably printed in Cape Town on natural base cloths, suitable for curtaining, upholstery, cushions, headboards, lampshades and soft furnishings across residential, commercial and hospitality interiors.
