A textile studio by Indian designer Priyanka Behl, working from within the country's rich textile traditions to produce silk, linen, embroidered and hand-beaded furnishing fabrics. Priyanka began her career with silk scarves and expanded into home furnishings on the back of a deep working knowledge of woven silk, embroidery, hand-beading and printing — techniques she still oversees personally with the artisans who make the collection.

Priyanka grew up in India, surrounded by textiles, skilled artisans, and the colour and pattern of Indian festivals and craft traditions. She began her career working with silk woven textiles, where her curiosity for weaving, embroidery and printing techniques took shape. Years later, after time spent living in Hong Kong and travelling extensively, the design vocabulary that runs through Behl Designs is unmistakably Indian — but layered with influences from across her travels.
Priyanka still travels regularly to India to work directly with the artisans who produce her collection, overseeing production and developing new techniques and patterns alongside them.

Behl Designs fabrics are suitable for curtaining, upholstery, cushions, headboards, lampshades and soft furnishings across residential, commercial and hospitality interiors. Embroidered and hand-beaded versions are best suited to lower-traffic applications — cushions, drapery, feature pieces — while the base prints and woven cloth work across the full range of soft furnishing applications.
