A printed menagerie of the species Durrell collects and covets during his time on Corfu. Named after the second book in the Corfu trilogy, Birds & Beasts is a zoological parade of the many birds, animals, insects and aquatic dwellers mentioned, chased, acquired and collected by Gerald throughout the three books. The design evokes traditional Greek embroidery and vase paintings (despite Durrell's documented lack of interest in Greek history).
