Named for the city in eastern China which played a role in the history of the region from its earliest civilization, we selected this design from one of the many intricate window grid patterns which were prevalent in China before the introduction of glass windows in 1911. We hand cut a stencil of this design, which is recognizably Chinese, yet apt for any decorative scheme or style as a hand printed fabric or wallpaper.
