This is one of our designs that are Coptic in origin from the late Roman to early Byzantine era. These designs are especially interesting as they are influenced by Greco Roman motifs as well as by early Christian Symbolism. Although originally monochromatic, we found that after hand cutting the stencils we were able to experiment with multiple and much brighter colors.
